De Pere Woman Strikes It Big with $125,000 Holly Jolly Raffle Win

Iride Luehr of De Pere is celebrating a life-changing win after claiming the top $125,000 prize in the Wisconsin Lottery’s Holly Jolly Raffle.

Luehr received her prize check Monday at the Wisconsin Lottery office in Milwaukee, following confirmation of her winning ticket: 062999.

She purchased the lucky ticket at Kwik Trip, located at 2618 Monroe Rd. in De Pere.

This year’s Holly Jolly Raffle kicked off on October 24, with tickets selling out by December 10. The official drawing took place the following day, on December 11.

The raffle began back in 2010 with just 50,000 tickets, but its popularity has soared. In 2023, it sold out with a record-high 150,000 tickets.

With odds of 1 in 150,000, Luehr beat the game’s toughest challenge to secure the top prize.

Beyond the grand winner, the raffle also awarded 78 prizes of $1,000 and 1,750 prizes of $100.

The Kwik Trip that sold the winning ticket will receive a $2,500 retailer bonus for its role in the big win.
