Florida Man Strikes $5 Million Jackpot with MONOPOLY Scratch-Off

A Davie, Florida resident is celebrating a massive payday after winning $5 million from the MONOPOLY™ SECRET VAULT scratch-off game.

Benjamin Chiurliza claimed his prize as a lump-sum payout of $2,884,920, opting for the one-time payment route.

He purchased the winning ticket at a Publix located on Miramar Parkway in Miramar. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

This $20 scratch-off is one of Florida Lottery’s high-stakes games, offering four top prizes of $5 million and over $369 million in total cash rewards. Odds of winning any prize are approximately 1 in 3.

Scratch-off games remain a cornerstone of Florida Lottery success, accounting for 74% of ticket sales in the 2023–2024 fiscal year.

To date, the Florida Lottery has funneled more than $48 billion into education, with over a million students benefiting from the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
