A lucky resident from Grandview, Johnson County is now $1 million richer, after scoring a top prize in the Millionaire Maker scratch-off game, the Texas Lottery announced.
The winning ticket was purchased at Mr. G’s convenience store, located at 520 Corsicana Highway in Hillsboro. The fortunate player has opted to stay anonymous.
This marks the 10th out of 15 top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the Millionaire Maker series.
Just before this win, another $1 million ticket in the same game was claimed in Arlington, making this the second major win in the region within a short span.
The Millionaire Maker game boasts over $200 million in total prizes, with overall odds of winning set at 1 in 3.54, including break-even wins.
