Idaho Man Stunned as $100K Lottery Win Turns Into $1 Million Jackpot

What started as a routine ticket check turned into a life-changing moment for Sean Klingler, a seasoned lottery player from Idaho.

Klingler had purchased eight tickets for the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle and was scanning them at a local store. A clerk initially told him he’d won $100,000—but quickly double-checked and revealed the actual prize was $1 million.

The unexpected upgrade caused a burst of excitement inside the store, with fellow customers joining in on the celebration.

After confirming his win and signing the ticket, Klingler immediately called his wife and daughter. He then made his way to Boise to officially claim his prize from Idaho Lottery officials.
