Knightdale Player Hits $135K Jackpot in Popular Digital Lottery Game

A Knightdale resident recently struck it big in a digital instant lottery game, winning a substantial prize, lottery officials confirmed.

Stephen Clark played the Magic Winnings Vegas game on September 12, spending $20 on the second-level “Cadabra” and walked away with the $135,218 jackpot. He visited the NC Lottery headquarters on Monday to claim his winnings. After federal and state taxes, Clark received $97,025.

The Magic Winnings Vegas game features a progressive jackpot that starts at $25,000 and can be won at any time. Players can join for amounts ranging from 50 cents to $30.

Following Clark’s win, the jackpot has reset and currently stands at $60,000 as of Tuesday morning, according to lottery officials.
