“I do need a truck”: Saskatchewan lottery winner with a million dollars

Sask Lotteries reports that there was some luck in Moose Jaw.

Wayne Gramracy found out that he won $1,000,000 with a lottery ticket purchased at the Shoppers Drug Mart, 428 Lillooet St. West.

The day following the Sept. 11 draw, he returned to the store to check his Lotto 649 ticket. He had to do this several times.

He stated in a press release that;

“at first, I couldn’t count all of the zeroes.”

The winner has some ideas to make the most of his newfound wealth.

He stated that he needed a new truck.

“I’ll put some of the money into investments for the future. The rest is spending money!”

A Moose Jaw resident scanned his Lotto Max ticket in June and won $411 859. David Danchilla bought his lucky numbers at the 7-Eleven, 1210 13th Ave. NW.
