Lotto: A Perth punter wins $2.1 Million in the Christmas Day draw

Although Christmas is over, there are still lots of lotto players in Perth that have yet to receive a life-changing gift from Santa Claus.

One lucky West Australian won a $2.1 million Division 1 prize in Saturday’s draw. This is a continuation of the State’s hot lotto streak.

They are yet to come forward and claim their fortune.

In the run-up to the December 25, draw, the winning ticket was sold at Applecross’ Canning Bridge Newsagency.

Claude Kagi, the Newsagency owner, said he couldn’t wait to celebrate with his winning punter.

He said,

This must be the best Christmas gift you could have requested.

I hope that we can celebrate together with the winner.

I have been telling everyone who came in that we sold a Division One ticket. It could be yours.

WA’s 71 Division One winners will share $206 million in prize money in 2021.

Two major draws complete the year: Thursday Powerball ($30m), and Friday’s New Year’s Eve Megadraw ($40m).
