Maryland woman wins $50,000 lottery luck because of a sister’s birthday

Maryland woman who was looking for lottery tickets for her sister’s special day selected a scratch-off bin with the same number and won $50,000.

The Jarrettsville woman said that she was visiting Maryland Lottery officials on Nov. 26th, her sister’s birthday. She then decided to purchase a lottery ticket at the store’s vending machines.

According to the woman, she selected a ticket from bin No. 26 to honor her sibling’s special day. The machine gave her a Power 5s card.

It was a $50,000 winning ticket.

The winner stated that she will share her winnings with family members and may consider taking a vacation to the beach with some of her windfalls.
