Massachusetts Player Claims $4 Million Scratch-Off Prize — Just One Jackpot Left

A Massachusetts lottery player has claimed a $4 million prize from the “$4,000,000 Extreme Cash” scratch-off game, leaving only one top prize still available.

The $10 ticket was launched by the Massachusetts State Lottery in March. As of July 17, just one $4 million grand prize remains unclaimed.

The winning ticket was claimed by the Backseat Mayor Nominee Trust of Springfield. Trustee Hyman Darling represented the trust during the prize claim.

The winner selected the one-time cash option and received $2.6 million before taxes.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Honey Farms, located at 369 West Main Street in Northborough.

For selling the winning scratch ticket, the retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus from the lottery.
