NC Man Hits Jackpot: Lands $10 Million Scratch-Off Win!

A North Carolina man is celebrating an incredible $10 million lottery win after playing a scratch-off game, lottery officials announced.

Terry Millsaps, a resident of Bryson City, purchased the winning $10 Million Spectacular ticket for $50 at a convenience store in Belmont, about 15 miles west of Charlotte. His lucky ticket secured him the game’s top prize, according to the North Carolina Education Lottery.

The $10 Million Spectacular game launched in December 2023, offering prizes between $50 and $10 million. So far, two more top prizes of $10 million are still up for grabs.

The odds of winning the grand prize stand at 1 in 3,255,582, while overall chances of winning any prize in the game are 1 in 3.11, lottery officials confirmed.
