Quincy-Based Trust Wins Big in Massachusetts Lottery Scratch-Off Game

A lucky family is celebrating a major windfall thanks to a winning ticket in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Bonanza” scratch-off game.

On Monday, Natalie Logan, the trustee for the Bumbalina Trust of Quincy, claimed the third $1 million prize in the game. Instead of opting for a $50,000 annuity paid over 20 years, Logan chose the lump-sum payment of $650,000 before taxes.

The trustee shared that the family plans to use the prize money to help support their loved ones, particularly their children and grandchildren.

The winning ticket was purchased at Players Cafe, located at 950 Hyde Park Ave in Hyde Park. As a reward, the cafe will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
