Randolph Groom-to-Be Hits Jackpot with $1 Million Lottery Win

A man from Randolph, Massachusetts, has plenty to celebrate as his wedding plans just got a lot grander.

Sean Galvez struck gold with a $5 instant ticket from the Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Monopoly Doubler,” transforming his modest investment into a whopping $1 million win.

Galvez became the third winner of the game’s four grand prizes. Rather than opting for the 20-year $50,000 annual payout, he chose a lump sum of $650,000.

Speaking with Lottery officials, Galvez shared that he plans to use his windfall to fund his wedding and take a big step toward homeownership.

Meanwhile, the lucky retailer, V & D Variety Store at 1897 River St. in Hyde Park, earned a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

It seems the upcoming celebration will be nothing short of spectacular!
