Windsor Woman Stunned by $100,000 Instant Lottery Win

A Windsor resident got the surprise of a lifetime after discovering she had won $100,000 on an Instant Crossword Tripler ticket.

Anne Kister, an education worker, has been playing the lottery for 15 years, often choosing Bingo instant tickets as a way to unwind after work.

“I was at home scratching my ticket when I noticed I had matched multiple words,” said Kister, a mother and grandmother. “At first, I thought I had won maybe $10 or $20.”

That changed when she scanned the ticket at a store and saw the real prize.

“I couldn’t believe it—I was in complete shock when the screen showed $100,000!” she said.

Kister traveled to Toronto to claim her winnings at the OLG Prize Centre.

“I play INSTANT games just for fun, so winning this much money was completely unexpected,” she said.

As for her plans, Kister intends to invest in her family’s future.

“I’ll be putting money aside for my children and grandchildren,” she shared. “And we’ll be taking a trip to Disney to make unforgettable memories together.”

The lucky ticket was purchased at Circle K on Wyandotte Street East in Windsor.
