Pizza Night Turns into Million-Dollar Feast for Michigan Woman

In an unexpected turn of events, a casual trip to pick up dinner dramatically changed a Macomb County woman’s life when she won $2 million.

The 41-year-old, who chose to remain anonymous, struck gold with the Michigan Lottery’s $2,000 large instant game. Her lucky ticket came from Party Palace Liquor in Shelby Township.

Explaining the fortunate moment, the woman shared, “I was on my way to get pizza and decided to try my luck with a scratch-off ticket, something my husband usually does. While waiting for the pizza, I scratched the ticket in my car. Realizing I had won was surreal. I immediately called my husband to share the exhilarating news.”

Opting for a lump sum, the winner received $1.3 million. She plans to settle some bills and indulge in a well-deserved vacation with her windfall.
